Alfredo Ribeiro da Cunha Lobo

Alfredo majored in Law at the Brasilia University Center (UniCEUB) and is currently a lawyer and partner at Miranda Lima & Lobo Advogados, a member of the Special Municipal Law Commission of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association (CFOAB) and a member of the Land Regularization and Real Estate Law Commissions of the OAB-DF. He is also the technical coordinator of the Real Estate Services Technical Group of the Parliamentary Front for the Services Sector.

He is currently undertaking his master’s degree in Constitutional Law at the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research (IDP) and holds specialization titles in in Civil Procedure from the Brazilian Institute of Public Law [IDP], Legal practice in Digital Law and Data Protection from the Brazilian School of Law [EBRADI] and Real Estate Law from the Legale Educational College [FLE].

Additionally, Alfredo is also undertaking an MBA in Tax Management from the University of São Paulo (USP) and has a degree in Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Personal Data Protection (LGPD) from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets [Ibmec].

He works in a qualified and strategic way for a large national company specializing in geotechnology, focusing on land regularization projects, with more than 30,000 individual processes.

With a decade’s experience in legal and legislative advice to members of parliament in the National Congress, he has worked directly in Thematic Committees, Special Committees and Parliamentary Inquiry Committees (CPIs).

His portfolio also includes work before the Supreme Court, advising on the drafting of votes and decisions, especially in the Superior Court of Justice (STJ). In his professional career, he has also worked in law firms and legal departments of small, medium and large sizes.

Caio Levi

Carlos holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Brasilia University Center (UniCEUB) and specializes in Material and Procedural Labor Law (Faculdades ATAME) and Public Law (Unileya). He is a member of Apex-Brasil’s legal staff, having been approved in a public selection process in 2019.

He has experience in administrative bodies, as well as having worked in the first and second instances and in Higher Courts, especially the Superior Labor Court (TST) and the Superior Court of Justice (STJ). He has also previously worked as a lawyer in large law firms in Brasília.

Cândido Ferreira da Cunha Lobo

Bachelor of Laws. He was approved in a public examination at Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (PETROBRAS) and in his time as a civil servant he advanced in his career going from junior lawyer to master lawyer (1992 to 2021).  He has held the positions of Head of the Judicial Affairs Office and Sector Manager to Senior Manager of various legal areas, including the Brasília Regional Legal Management and the Legal Management for Higher Courts. Among the activities carried out is the monitoring of judicial, administrative or political cases subject to special attention and/or sensitive clients.

He has a degree in Business Law from the Institute of Public Law and Political Science of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation/RJ [INDIPO/FGV] and an MBA in Executive Improvement from the COPPEAD Institute of Administration of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPEAD – UFRJ).

Still at post-baccalaureate level, he took part in the Petroleum Logistics Executive Development Program, taught by the University of Nevada, Reno, in the USA, in conjunction with COPPEAD – UFRJ; and the International Law Program, taught by the University of California, Davis School of Law and UC Davis Extension, in the USA.

He also has training in Mediation and Other Forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution, having participated in the 9th High Legal Capacity for Justice Administrators promoted by the International Academic Institute of Mediation (IIAMA), in conjunction with Mediation Works Incorporated (MWI), Cambridge/MA, USA.

He was a member of the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF), in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, and of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Carla Fahima

Carla holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Cuiabá (UNIC) and is a postgraduate student in Civil Procedural Law at the Escola Mineira de Direito (EMD).

Her portfolio also includes experience in civil law, consumer law and animal protection.

She also works as a member of the Animal Rights Defense Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association in Mato Grosso, as well as the director of the Lunaar (Fight and Union of Friends for Animals at Risk) Association.

Carolina Guimarães

Carolina holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Brasilia University Center (UniCEUB). She has experience in Civil Procedure and Insurance Law.

Her portfolio also includes work in credit recovery for companies, experience in credit securities and monitoring of government debt titles in the Federal, State, Municipal and Federal District spheres. She is co-author of scientific research published in the journal Fundamental Rights and Alterity (Jan-Jun 2019 pages 7 to 33).

Leopoldo César de Miranda Lima Bisneto

Leopoldo César holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Brasilia University Center (UniCEUB), is a founding partner of Miranda Lima & Lobo Advogados. Additionally, he is studying business management at the Dom Cabral Foundation (FDC).

He also has experience as CEO of a large national company specializing in geotechnology, leading land regularization projects with more than 30,000 individual cases.

With extensive experience in the specialized defense of clients, he is a qualified professional in Public Law, especially in strategic cases in the areas of Electoral, Constitutional and Administrative Law, pending before the Federal Supreme Court (STF), the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) and the Federal Regional Courts (TRFs).

He has worked as a parliamentary aide in the National Congress and has expertise in Applied Study in Legislative Techniques (Legislative Process), a skill developed in a course at the Brazilian Legislative Institute of the Federal Senate. He also completed Applied Electoral Law at the Escola Superior da Advocacia (ESA).

Marco Antônio Sampaio Filho

Marco Antônio holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Brasilia University Center (UniCEUB), is a specialist in enforcement proceedings from AVA Brasil Educação, has a postgraduate degree in Corporate Advocacy from the Fundação Escola Superior do Ministério Público (FMP) and is studying for a master’s degree in law at UniCEUB.
